Over the 4.5 billion year lifespan of our planet, nature has continuously evolved and adapted to changing conditions. Since the early years of our planet, the inhabitants have continuously striven to be one with nature, using the surroundings to create opportunities which helped their species flourish and prosper. In todays world, we have taken nature for granted and as we move towards a more urbanised way of life, our understanding of the flora and fauna around us and more importantly our understanding of the interdependence between us and our environment has gone away.

While we look back on mankind’s mistakes from the past, we should try and inculcate a sense of respect and responsibility towards our planet and its inhabitants in all our present and future generations. This symbiosis is now becoming more vital and essential to not only our survival but also the well-being of the entire eco system we call Earth.

We at Rediscover Outdoors are committed to the environment in more ways than one. Here is how we do it:-

	Travel green: Travelling in groups and staying in eco-friendly
	sites minimizes our carbon footprint.
	Waste management: We take special care to ensure we do not
	contribute to air, land or water pollution in and around the locations
	we take our visitors to.
	Re-use and recycle: As far as possible, we aim to reuse what we can.
	All recyclable components are collected and processed.
	While at the camp sites, we control our noise levels to ensure we do
	not disturb the wildlife in the surroundings.
	While selecting partners, we lay special emphasis on the "go green"
	status and initiatives of our partners and their subsidiaries

We contribute towards the benefit of the needy by working with the following organizations:-

	CEE (Centre for Environment Education)
	CHINTAN (Environmental Research and Action Group)
